RBSplitView is a replacement for Cocoa's NSSplitView. There are some serious limitations with NSSplitView if you need to limit subview's sizes, expand or collapse subviews programmatically or by double-clicking, or resize the split view frequently.

Shortcut Recorder is a free Cocoa control for easily capturing key combinations. It comes with an Interface Builder palette, it is customizable and resolution-independent, and it's already being used in applications. Thanks to its BSD license, you can use it too, and adapt it if you need to.

Inspector Panel. This kind of Panel often includes collapsible “panes,” or sections where several options or information are grouped together. Inspector Panels are are quickly becoming the new, stylish way to present peripheral information and options to the user. Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t provide us with any built-in Inspector Panels of their own, such as the one used heavily in Interface Builder, or in the Finder.

BGHUDAppKit fills the gap left by Apple when they introduced HUD Panel windows with OS X Leopard but forgot to provide controls that matched. This appkit is unique compared to the few others out there. BGHUDAppKit uses absolutely NO images to create the controls, every single control is hand drawn using ONLY native Cocoa drawing routines.
